  • A quote is not a binding contract until confirmed in writing (email, text, or a signed work order/estimate) by both parties.

  • Unforeseen conditions discovered once work begins — outdated wiring, code violations, inaccessible panels, and similar issues — may require a revised estimate, which we will communicate before proceeding with any additional work.

4. Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Appointments are scheduled based on availability and the information you provide about the issue or project.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of delays, including delays caused by weather, permitting, or parts availability.

6. Permits

For work that requires a permit under applicable building codes, Burks Electric Co. will obtain the necessary permit(s) as part of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Customer is responsible for providing the property access necessary for required inspections.

7. Warranty

  • Manufacturer warranties on materials and equipment (panels, breakers, fixtures, EV chargers, and similar items) are provided by their respective manufacturers and are separate from any labor warranty offered by Burks Electric Co.

  • This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, acts of nature, or work performed by others after our service is complete.
